The founder of Storytelling Without Borders, Anusha Caroline Andersson, was interviewed at a start-up conference in Brussels, February 2017.
The 'Storytellers without Borders' project aims to reach as many children and young refugees as possible and help them to socialize and express themselves through films. Based on a partnership between creative arts and humanitarian organizations in Sweden, Greece and Denmark, the project offers a safe place where refugees can discover their own voices and express their stories, thoughts and feelings in creative ways: http://storytellingwithoutborders.com/ We asked Anusha Caroline Andersson from FilmCentrum Riks in Stockholm, to explain the reasons that lead to the creation of the project. Discover her answer in the video! The project has received European funding through the Creative Europe's call on the integration of refugees through culture: https://ec.europa.eu/programmes/creative-europe/cross-sector/refugees-migration-intercultural-dialogue
